THINK ABOUT YOUR READING
When you read any of Anne Frank's writing, you need to remember a few things.
Think like a historian-- This diary was written in a much different time. We need to focus on thinking like a historian so we can read the diary as if we were there.
Trying to understand Anne's perspective-- Try to immerse yourself in her writing. We should attempt to view things from her perspective, which could be challenging since we are so far removed. One way that we can read through her perspective is to try and grasp the true meaning of her vocabulary.
